Here are some pictures of my house.   Please scroll down to the bottom of this page for the explanation of the WX3B Framing Party.   Follow this link for additional House Pictures.

The first three antennas were installed by a large team of good friends and fellow PVRC members including:  N3SB, NY3A, W3ARS, K1RH, W3DF, W3ADC, W3ADX, N3VOP, N3ST, and W3RAR.

Warning: Serious Unpacking Ahead

In November, 2004 after I moved into my house, David, K3LP announced "Jim, I would like to give you a housewarming gift.   I will wire up your electricity for the radio room".   David started planning and the project mushroomed into a complete design for the lower living level.  By the time he was done, his design had 6 operating positions, a spotting position, one bedroom, a full bathroom, and a kitchen.

Next, David phoned Clint, W3ARS and got him "involved" (a.k.a. Hi-jacked) in participating in this gift - he told Clint he would like to have the basement framed.  Clint quickly agreed.   Then Clint saw the drawing - and said something like "We're not really going to frame all that in one day are we???"

What transpired over a period of the next day was unusual, generous and simply amazing.  David and Clint, with the help of Bob, W3RAR and Mike, N3VOP framed the entire basement, including a bedroom, bathroom and closet.  At the end of this framing party, David completed the electrical work.

To the masters, David and Clint - I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  This would not have been possible without your generosity and help.   Now it's anybody's guess to when the lights will be wired, and the finishing touches on the walls will be done!
