The purpose of the Carroll County Contesters group is to promote international goodwill and experimenting with technology associated with the Amateur Radio Sport known as "Contesting". The Carroll County Contesters also practice their Emergency Communication Skills during the ARRL's Field Day Event, held the last full weekend in June.
